Research projects which are treated as holistic priority ones are placed among the sections of Strategic research, Exploratory research, Special research or Project centers in this Center for the Promotion of Project Research, to be handled intensively with strictdeadline and the purpose. Please come to see us any time.University MuseumThe MUSEUM of Shimane University was established and opened to the public on April 1, 2006.The excavated remains from archaeological sites on the university campuses (Matsue and Izumo) are exhibited in the MUSEUM. ReCCLE has promoted environmental and interdisciplinary research on brackish water environments, and has provided research-based learning, practical skills and field training at both undergraduate and graduate levels in Lake Nakaumi and Lake Shinjiko, representing Japan¡¯s largest estuaries. ReCCLE is renamed as Estuary Research Center (EsReC) from April 2017, and reorganized into three divisions: Environmental Change Research Division, Environmental Fluid Dynamics Research Division, and Aquatic Ecology Research Division. EsReC continues activities of ReCCLE, and is promoting basic and applied sciences on estuaries and coasts including their watersheds towards sustainable estuaries through better understanding of estuaries.Student Support CenterThe Student Support Center supports the lives of all students on campus.We are always ready to put well-organized resources into practical use.The center also provides consultation for finding employment.Attached Facilities and Institutions
