Shimane University International HousesInternational House MatsueInternational House Matsue is located only 500 meters north of the University. It provides international students and researchers with accommodation and facilities to encourage international communication in education and research. International House Matsue has 28 apartments for single students and researchers, each consists of a single room without bath. Shower rooms and small kitchens are equipped on the first and second floors, and a lounge and a laundry area are equipped on the first floor. Two larger apartments are available for married couples. Each apartment has a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen.International students must submit an application form for residence to the international student section in January and July.
